This policy explains how Cavendish Partnership Group Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or send us an enquiry. We are the controller of that data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Cavendish Partnership Group Ltd, 314 Midsummer Court, Midsummer Boulevard, Milton Keynes, England, MK9 2UB. Email: daniel.gorin@cavendishpartnershipgroup.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry details. When you use the enquiry form we collect your name, company, email address, telephone number, the project location, the type of project, the services you are interested in, your programme, your description of the works and any drawing or specification you choose to upload.
- Correspondence. If you email or telephone us we will hold the details you give us.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We also ask for your consent on the form.
- To keep the website secure and working: our legitimate interest in running a safe, reliable website.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations where they apply.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell personal data.
Who we share it with
Enquiries are delivered to us by email and a copy is stored in the website’s database. Our website hosting and email providers process this data on our behalf. We may share relevant details with suppliers or specialist subcontractors where that is needed to price or deliver work you have asked us about, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Where an enquiry leads to a contract, records are kept for as long as needed for the contract and for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
International transfers
If any of our service providers process data outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email daniel.gorin@cavendishpartnershipgroup.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
